an archival stratification of materials and languages reflecting narratives from both the past and present history of leipzig, viewed as an archaeological urbanscape of community displacement.  these materials were recorded during a three-month art residency extraordinarily developed during the last lock-down in germany. the artist was intentionally absent at the opening, and the artworks were located in different regions of the same country /

diptych and floor installation specifically designed in dialogue with the indoor/outdoor context of castello aliprandini laifenthurn and the anthropic landscape of val di non, organically marked by the vast “pomari” as locals call the the intensive orchards dedicated to apple cultivation.  their modular morphology, shaped by industrial techniques, has become an iconic landmark that rivals the alps and defines an ambivalent community identity triggered by labour and more than human standards. the primary materials were sourced from local beekeepers following a fieldwork trip three months before the exhibition.
